Pastors—what if I told you that a tenth of your church might leave?

But I also guarantee you this: the remnant that remains will be battle-ready. Radically committed to Christ, who did not love their lives even unto death. The kind of people God uses to shake a region, a generation, a world.

Here is what I propose. A ten-part sermon series. It will offend most people. Some will come around. Those who choose to be offended will leave—and they were never going to see it any other way anyway.

They say a small army, shivering through a Pennsylvania winter in 1777, emerged in the spring as the force that won a war. The winter makes the army. The sermon makes the church.

Let me give you the outline.

1. Three Realms

Before we go anywhere else, we need to establish the framework. There are three distinct categories for ordering the life of a Christian, and every sermon in this series falls into one of them:

The church realm—where we preach the gospel, make disciples of all nations, and operate in the power of prayer and fasting. This is our primary calling.

The civic realm—where Christians organise to support the lesser of evils, curb the world’s free-fall corruption, and oppose leftism in every sphere of our lives. Silence here is not neutrality.

The eternal realm—where we eagerly await Jesus’ glorious appearing, the Millennium Kingdom, and the final establishment of New Heavens, New Earth, and the New Jerusalem. True justice is realised only when He returns with a rod of iron.

We do our utmost in the first two realms—but we never lose sight of the third. Trying to establish utopia by human effort before Christ’s return is functionally no different than Marxism. The world will grow increasingly wicked until He comes. Maranatha.

2. The Gospel

The gospel has been reshaped into a sentimental romance in much of today’s Church. “Jesus my boyfriend.” Gentle, validating, comforting—stripped of divine holiness. We must recover the full weight of what Christ accomplished.

Christ absorbed the Father’s wrath. The doctrine of propitiation is not peripheral. God’s justice required satisfaction; God’s love supplied it. Without this truth, we have no answer for why the Son of God truly had to die. In a culture that cannot grasp divine anger, we must champion it.

Our role is proclamation, not persuasion. The gospel comprises three facts: Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, and He rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. We present them clearly and leave the work of the heart to the Holy Spirit. Stop adding conditions—lordship salvation, works, moral performance—and hindering the very grace you claim to preach.

3. How to Order the Family

The modern church has quietly reversed the biblical order in the home, and the consequences are visible everywhere.

Wives submit to your husbands. This is not a cultural artefact or a power play. It is God’s corrective to the woman’s post-fall desire to control. The command appears three times—in Ephesians, Colossians, and 1 Peter—always paired with the husband’s command to love sacrificially, always placing the wife’s calling first. Not contingent on the husband’s performance. As unto the Lord.

The mother’s veto neuters the father—and catechises children in rebellion. When a mother steps between the father and the child to override discipline, the children learn that authority is negotiable. How can they then submit to a Heavenly Father they cannot see, when the model they watched daily was their mother refusing to submit to the father they could see? Wifely submission and parental discipline are one and the same mechanism. The pattern I have observed without exception in Christian households whose children did not inherit the faith: a weak husband and a strong-willed wife who does not submit.

4. Prayer

Prayer is not a technique for getting things from God. It is not a vehicle for blessing-seeking.

Prayer is spiritual connection. We are wired for connection—we reach through every experience toward its maker. What must it mean to connect with the One who designed everything? The early Christian scientists felt this as they mapped the cosmos. Prayer is the creature responding to the Creator who has been communicating all along. The deepening relationship itself is the reward.

Cry out together. The dominant biblical pattern is not silent contemplation—it is vocal, desperate, corporate crying out to God. The psalmists, Hannah, Jesus Himself, the early church in Acts 4—all of them lifted their voices with intensity. Korean simultaneous prayer (tongseong gido) preserves this ancient pattern. When hundreds of voices rise simultaneously—pleading, thanking, confessing, interceding—something shifts in the heavenly places. Western sequential prayer has strengths, but to never practice the crying-out form at all is a serious loss.

5. The Word

If you cannot trust your Bible, you cannot trust your theology.

Your New Testament is missing verses. Modern translations (NIV, ESV, NLT) are based on the Critical Text, which omits significant passages preserved in the Textus Receptus tradition used by the KJV and NKJV. The Lord’s Prayer doxology—“For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever.” The longer ending of Mark with Jesus’ promises of signs following believers: casting out demons, speaking in new tongues, taking up serpents, laying hands on the sick. The story of the woman caught in adultery. These are not footnotes. They are the living Word of God, and their removal is not neutral.

Read the Bible with intention. The McCheyne reading plan—Old Testament once per year, New Testament and Psalms twice—anchors a man through trials and prepares us for Christ’s quick return. Feast on the Word daily. Build the habit. Let it become daily bread.

6. How to Read the World

If you cannot discern the ideological current running through your culture, you will be swept away by it.

Leftism is a rival worldview—and it is anti-biblical. It identifies inequality as the world’s greatest evil and political revolution as the solution. But the Eighth Commandment enshrines private property. The Tenth Commandment condemns covetousness—the very root of the left-wing demand for redistribution. The Parable of the Talents magnifies distinctions in the Kingdom, not erases them. Leftism is not a policy preference. It is comprehensive worldview aimed at dismantling creation itself.

The gospel Keller preached was not the gospel. Influential pastors shaped by Frankfurt School Critical Theory and Liberation Theology have quietly redefined Christ’s mission from “saving His people from their sins” to “restoring justice to the oppressed.” Political liberation was never the mission of Christ, and it was never the mission of His apostles. One of His twelve disciples was a Zealot—a violent revolutionary—and after witnessing the cross and resurrection, he abandoned his political programme entirely to preach the Gospel.

Solzhenitsyn warned us fifty years ago. In his 1978 Harvard commencement address, the exiled Russian warned of declining courage as “the beginning of the end.” He saw the slide from liberalism to radicalism to socialism to communism. He called for human obligations over human rights. He said only moral criteria can help the West against communism’s well-planned strategy. He was right about everything.

7. This Mad World

The world has gone off the rails, and the church is either complicit or blind.

Environmentalism is a religion—and a satanic one. Revelation 8 and 16 describe God destroying trees, seas, rivers, and springs as part of His end-time judgment. Why? Because the current world worships the Earth. Just as God struck the Nile because Egypt worshipped it, He strikes nature when it becomes an object of worship. The climate cult is profoundly anti-human at its core—openly anti-natalist, openly hostile to human flourishing. The church must see this for what it is.

The word “racist” has been weaponised until it means nothing. Classic racism—prejudice based on racial membership, denial of the imago Dei—is a sin. But the inflated 2026 definition, which includes any recognition of group differences, any preference for national continuity, any resistance to erasing distinctions between peoples, is not a sin. God made nations—distinct, bounded, separate—and determined their boundaries (Acts 17:26). Paul endorsed cultural generalisations about the Cretans and called the testimony “true” (Titus 1:12–13). We must speak clearly, even when the culture hurls labels to silence us.

Compromise for thirty years produced nothing. The “Third Way” of seeker-sensitive churches—the gentle, non-offensive, bridged gospel of the 1990s and 2010s—aimed to make Christianity palatable. The harvest: a church full of attendees but lacking transformed lives. No awakening. No widespread repentance. Just accommodation that blurred every edge. Charlie Kirk confronted liberalism directly, using truth that offended as an on-ramp to the Gospel. In the three weeks after his assassination, more people encountered the Gospel than in the previous three decades combined. One event produced the largest gospel outreach in history. God uses the bold, not the polite.

Disarm and starve—the tyrant’s oldest play. Control what people eat, take away their weapons. The Norman Forest Law, the Highland porridge diet, the slave’s deliberate undernourishment—all the same pattern updated for modernity. The same mechanism runs through church history: chain the Bible, keep the people in theological malnutrition, maintain dependency. A saint who can read Scripture for himself and eat well is more dangerous to corrupted power than an army.

8. The Need for Men to Rise Up

The softening of Christian men and the disarming of Christian men are part of the same agenda.

Courage or nothing. By not speaking out, we allow the Overton window to continue its leftward march. Self-censorship is not wisdom. It is cowardice that empowers those who threaten everything we cherish. It is time to stand firm, speak freely, and plant the flag on the hill. When ordinary men stop cowering, society changes.

Be men. Paul did not mince words: “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13). The Greek is andrizesthe—literally “be men.” The church needs the heroics of David’s mighty men: Issachar who understood the times, Gadites with faces like lions, swift as gazelles. Men who smelled of blood, sweat, and covenant loyalty. Young men are starving for this—a tribe, a mission, a King worth dying for. When the men come alive, the families follow.

Make your regiment proud. The British Army is organised into regiments—small enough to know, deep enough to love, old enough to carry weight. A British commander told his men before battle: “Make your regiment proud.” The local church is our regiment. We fight for the man beside us. We carry the cloud of witnesses who subdued kingdoms and stopped the mouths of lions. That is a weight of glory worth living up to.

The Regiment of Christ 2026. Twenty battle-tested men. No novices. Every book of the Bible read ten times. Filled with the Holy Spirit and walking in the gifts. Battle-tested courage with a proven record of standing firm. Eyes open to the satanic nature of leftism. Disciplined in fasting and prayer. Physically strong. These are the men God raises in this final hour to supercharge the harvest. Hardship forges them. Shared trials create bonds no casual fellowship can match.

9. The Blessed Hope

We are living in the final moments. The clock is not ticking slowly—it is expiring.

Amillennialism takes the edge off Christian hope. The three millennial positions—pre, post, amillennialism—reveal something deeper than terminology. Those who dismiss a literal thousand-year reign rarely speak with urgency about Christ’s near return. They seem dismissive, even uncomfortable when the topic arises. As if His coming soon interrupts their plans. The early church lived with expectancy. They believed He could return at any moment. That shaped everything.

The rapture is biblical, imminent, and certain. Jesus Himself promised: “I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:3). Paul details seven stages in 1 Thessalonians 4: the Lord descends, the dead in Christ rise first, the living are transformed instantaneously, and together we meet Him in the air. This is not a mystery that replaces clear teaching—it is the revealed mystery, hidden in the Old Testament and now manifest to His saints.

We are in the end of the end of the end times. For 2,000 years we’ve been in the End Times. Israel’s rebirth in 1948 marked the End of the End Times—the fig tree put forth its leaves. But 2020 and the astonishing alignment of prophecy mark the End of the End of the End Times. A second 490-year Daniel 70-week count, from Suleiman the Magnificent’s 1537 decree to rebuild Jerusalem, leads precisely to AD 2027. Whether you follow that timeline or not, the Holy Spirit testifies within you: the end of all things is at hand.

The full picture. At death, immediate presence with the Lord. At the rapture, the first resurrection of church saints—instantaneous transformation, glorified bodies, caught up to meet Jesus. Seven years in heaven at the marriage supper while earth endures the Tribulation. Then Christ returns to earth, establishes His Millennial Kingdom, rules with a rod of iron. After a thousand years, the final judgment. The lake of fire. New Heavens, New Earth, New Jerusalem. This is not speculation. This is Scripture.

10. Detox Your Mind

You become what you consume. If you are feeding your mind garbage and expecting spiritual strength, you are lying to yourself.

Empathy is not the virtue modern culture claims. Defined as “feeling what another person feels”—projecting yourself into their emotional shoes—empathy is impossible (no man can know another’s heart) and dangerous (it places control of your emotional life in the hands of others, opening you to manipulation). Sympathy—recognising suffering and responding with care—is the biblical approach. Empathy’s roots lie in the postmodern rejection of objective truth, where “lived experience” replaces the unchanging Word of God.

Sober-minded is a non-negotiable leadership requirement. The mainstream secular media—BBC, CNN, The Guardian, The New York Times—has quietly rewritten the worldview of vast swathes of the Church. Elders must be nēphalios: clear-headed, vigilant, free from every form of intoxication. No one should serve in spiritual oversight while relying on captured media outlets as their primary source of news and worldview formation. AI adds another layer of deception—silently editing, filtering, rewriting. If you cannot discern the bias of a headline, you will certainly not notice when your own thoughts are quietly rewritten by an algorithm.

Your spirit is either strong or weak—and you can tell. Ten diagnostic contrasts: temptation (weak spirit falls easily, strong spirit finds obedience easier), peace (weak spirit anxious, strong spirit at constant peace), fear versus confidence, complaint versus gratitude, emptiness versus fullness, disorder versus order, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, how you treat the vulnerable (weak spirit dominates, strong spirit serves), fruit (works of the flesh versus fruit of the Spirit), and power (powerless versus genuine ability). The solution is simple: the Word and prayer. Not intellectual study—that’s a soul function. The spirit is fed simply.

11. Spiritual Warfare

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. This is how the Kingdom advances.

Fasting is not about pushing your will on God—it’s about humbling yourself before Him. Jesus placed fasting on equal footing with prayer and giving. The proud soul needs the body’s affliction. Fasting brings the flesh under control, and in that humility, God moves. Prolonged corporate fasting is the church’s thermonuclear-level spiritual weapon. In these end times, may churches everywhere use it to drive out demons, heal the sick, and dispel darkness.

The fast itself is the reward. After four consecutive 21-day fasts, I realised the truth: the fast is not merely the means to a breakthrough. The daily feasting on Scripture while fasting from food—reading through the McCheyne plan, reciting memorised Psalms while walking, feeling satisfied even full on God’s Word—that is the grace. “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lᴏʀᴅ.”

Prayer is the apex of connection with the Creator. Not a religious duty. The most natural thing in the world. The creature responding to the One who has been communicating all along.

True faith is full-hearted allegiance. Faith is not mental agreement—it is loyal fidelity. Repentance means defecting. Abandon your post. Lay down your arms. Renounce all rival thrones—self, lust, greed, nationalism, pride—and swear fealty to the rightful King. Baptism is the public declaration of that loyalty. You cannot claim to believe and then deny Christ by your silence. His holy Name must be defended. Not by violence. By voice. By courage. By public confession.

The offended will leave. The remnant will remain. And God will use that remnant to shake this generation.

The winter makes the army. The sermon makes the church. Spring is coming.
